WESTBROOK – Lucille T. Lachance of Oakland Avenue and Sabbathday Lake, died Sunday, March 7, 2004, at the home of her sister in Westbrook. She was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Auburn, a daughter of Levi and Alice Morin Lachance. She was raised and educated in Westbrook, and was a graduate of Westbrook High School, Class of 1944. Lucille had been employed by The New England Telephone Co., retiring in 1982 after 38 years of service, she worked in Boston for several years during her employment. Upon retirement, she spent her winters in Pompano Beach, Fla. and summered at Sabbathday Lake, New Gloucester. She was predeceased by brothers, Lionel, Armand, Ronald and Romeo Lachance. She is survived by her sister, Florence Pinette of Westbrook; and a brother, Marcel Lachance of Standish; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Hyacinth Church. Interment will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
