OLD TOWN – On Feb. 9, 2004, Lula F. Gadd, 83, joyfully joined her husband in Heaven. She was born Feb. 19, 1920, in Springfield, a daughter of Verd and Mina (Stanley) Drake. Lula was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother always surrounding her family with love and warmth. She became the role model for the family. She found joy in her flower gardens and decorating her home and was a wonderful cook and hostess. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Judy Murray and her husband, Robert, of Old Town; a grandson, David Murray and his wife, Eileen, of Argyle; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Gagnon and her husband, Chris, of Old Town, Erica and Elysia Murray of Argyle; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert N. Gadd, on Jan. 6, 2002; a great-granddaughter, Erin Murray, in April of 2001; two sisters and five brothers.
