LINCOLN – Lynn E. Pratt, 63, a dedicated Christian, has gone on to be with the Lord, Oct 23, 2006, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born June 4, 1943, in Old Town, the daughter of Freemont and Kathryn (Dunn) Towle. She owned and operated the Hodge Podge Shop for many years. She taught and was treasurer of a Christian school. She was a member of the Mattawamkeag Church of God. She taught Sunday school for 30 years. Lynn enjoyed knitting afghans, other projects and also wrote poetry. She loved people and her family. She always had concern for others. She is survived by her husband of nearly 44 years, Gordon Pratt of Lincoln; two daughters, Kelly Emery and her husband, Alan and their children, Bethany, Hannah and Rebekah, all of Houlton, and Karen Cornell and her husband, Chip, and their daughter, Lydia, of Coats, N.C.; one sister, Sheila Chesley and her husband, Orrin, of Woodville; two brothers, Peter Towle and his wife, Cyndi, of Lincoln and Kevin Towle and his wife, Kim, of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Mattawamkeag Church of God, with the Rev. Mark W. York officiating. Interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
