BANGOR – Lynne Marie Luce, 48, died July 2, 2007, with her parents at her side at home. Lynne was the delight of our lives. She was a courageous young woman. She graduated from Bangor High School and worked as an aid at Fruit Street School for five years. She had her own business, Knitcraft by Lynne. When she was younger she enjoyed tenting and fishing at Moosehead with the family. Lynne enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting and needlepoint. She also enjoyed trips to the mall, many hours on the computer and going out to eat. Surviving are her parents, Charlene and Roger Luce of Bangor; aunts and uncles, Margaret Rackleff of Oakland, Robert McTaggart and his wife, Pat, of Long Meadow, Mass., John Kerr and his wife, Joan, of Oakland and Harvey Luce and his wife, Marie, of Camarillo, Calif.; several cousins; a special cousin, Mitzi Short of Bangor; a special friend, Dale Horne; her beloved dog, Barney. Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer, at a date and time to be announced. Gifts in her memory may be sent to Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mount Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401.
