SHERIDAN – Marie Annette LeBlanc, 90, died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at the Caribou Nursing Home. She was born in St. Agatha, Jan. 17, 1915, the 16th child of Alphonse Alex and Claudia (Roy) Plourd. She graduated from high school in St. Agatha in the depression era 1930’s and took care of her older siblings’ children and did home knitting for a New York contractor. Annette came to Sheridan in 1940 to work as a housekeeper for Fr. Grondin and there she met her future husband, Oville LeBlanc who delivered milk to the rectory. They married in 1945 and spent 34 years together before Oville died in 1979. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Roberta. Annette is survived by her sons, Frank LeBlanc of Sheridan; George LeBlanc and his wife Sandra (Prue) LeBlanc of Hermon; her grandchildren, Maria LeBlanc of Clermont, Fla., and Geoffrey LeBlanc of Nashville Plantation; her twin sister, Lorette Mandrall of Branford, Conn. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mark Catholic Church, Ashland with Rev. Michael Hinken, SOLT, pastor, celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
