SOUTHWEST HARBOR – Alice D. Kenney, 97, died May 18, 2005, at Bar Harbor. She was born April 14, 1908, in Clark’s Harbour, Nova Scotia, the daughter of John and Meta (Kenney) Daley. She moved to Southwest Harbor in 1931, where she raised her four children with her husband, Felton E. Kenney, who predeceased her in 1976. Alice loved nature, and especially the wildlife around her home. She is survived by her son, Bud Kenney and his wife, Peggy, of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Barbara and her husband, Earl Moser, of Mount Desert, and daughters, Ruth Jellison and Jane Kenney, both of Southwest Harbor; grandchildren, George Jellison, Jr., Aimee Williams, Michael Kenney; great-grandchildren, Christopher Blanchette, Michael and Gregory Williams, Ian Jellison, Ashley and Brooke Kenney; great-great-grandchild, Paul Blanchette. In addition to her husband, Felton, she was predeceased by two grandsons, Scott and Danny Kenney.
