BUCKSPORT – M. Douglas Hasey, 74, died July 21, 2006, at the Maine Veterans’ Home, Bangor. He was born April 8, 1932, in Kenduskeag, son of Walter and Cecilia (Calder) Hasey. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in the Korean War. He worked for many years at Pratt-Whitney in Connecticut, had a light trucking business in Bucksport and enjoyed weekend camping trips. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Hickey) Hasey of Bucksport; brother, Ray Hasey and his wife, Noreen, of Kenduskeag; two sisters-in-law, Margo Bennett of Orland and Betty Thomas of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Tinker Hasey Private interment will be in Silver Lake Cemetery, Bucksport.
