BANGOR – Marguerite Geraldine “Jerri” Kimball, 90, died March 18, 2005, at an Orono health care facility. She was born June 25, 1914, the daughter of Harold and Flora (Nickerson) Graham. She attended Bangor schools and graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1931. She worked for many years in retail sales in the Bangor area. She managed “Knit Nook” on Columbia Street for several years prior to opening her own business “Craft-Wise” in Brewer in 1971. Because of her success she was named SBA’s Small Business Person of the Year in 1978. She retired in 1985. Jerri is survived by two daughters, Kathy Kimball of Hampden and Judith Kennedy and her husband, Pat, of Shepardsville, Ky., several nieces, nephews and special friends, Pat and Ervin Hill of Bangor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, and her husband of 35 years, Byron William Kimball. The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff of Orono Commons for their care and compassion provided to Jerri during her final years of coping with Alzheimer’s disease. A graveside service will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bangor, at a later date and time to be announced. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Orono Commons Activity Fund, P.O.
