BAILEYVILLE – Madeline P. Perkins, 81, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at a Calais nursing home, following a long illness. She was born March 15, 1923, at Calais, a daughter of Burleigh and Edna Flood Perkins. She attended local schools, graduating from Woodland High School in 1942. Madeline was employed at Wareknitter’s in Calais for more than 38 years. She enjoyed keeping a scrap book of local events and people. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Winifred O’Neal. Surviving are two sisters, Audrey Moreside of Baileyville and Mrs. Curtis (Betty) Marcum of Weldon, Ill., and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at The Woodland Cemetery in Baileyville. Pastor Rolfe Flood will officiate. Arrangements are by Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, Calais.
