LEWISTON – Madora Jipson was called to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer. What Madora loved most in life was being with her family. She was a most loving mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and all around best friend to all who knew her. She loved to knit, play computer games, card games and she enjoyed fellowship with all of her friends at Grace Fellowship Church. The holidays were her favorite time of year when all of her family would come together. She was very proud of her family. She worked hard all her life. She is survived by four brothers, Lester Raymond of Millinocket, Brian Roy of Alaska, Lawrence Roy of Florida and Lawrence Raymond of Lincoln; four sisters, Eva Sibley of Burlington, Doris Thompson of Arizona, Irene Park of Pennsylvania and Mary Dimezza of New York. She is also survived by Wallace Jipson Sr.; and seven wonderful children, four sons, Arnold Jipson and his wife, Florence of Mechanic Falls, Carroll Jipson of Maryland, Kevlin Jipson and his friend, Debbie, of Auburn, Asa Jipson and his wife, Heather, of Maryland; three daughters, Beverly Thomas and her husband, Sam, of Poland, Charlene Toussaint and her husband, Russ, of Mechanic Falls and Arline Keough of Maryland; 20 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004 at the Grace Fellowship Church, 29 Poplar St., Oxford, with interment to follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at Weston-Chandler Funeral Home, 26 W. Dwinal St., Mechanic Falls. Flowers are welcome or memorial gifts can be made to the Grace Fellowship Church.
