SOUTHWEST HARBOR – Mae A. Joyce, 81, died March 21, 2006, at MDI Hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1924, on Cranberry Isle, the daughter of Enoch and Beatrice (Bunker) Stanley. Mae was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and a very hard worker. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Spurling and her husband, Robert, of West Tremont; a special sister, Nina Turner of Southwest Harbor; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Noele Spurling and several nieces and nephews.
