MT. CHASE – Mae Bruneau McCaffrey, 69, died May 8, 2005, at Houlton. She was born May 10, 1935, in Lincoln, R.I, the daughter of Joseph and Malvena (Daigneault) Bruneau. She was a devoted wife, mother and nana who enjoyed painting, gardening and spending every moment she could with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William of Mt. Chase; three sons and their wives, William and Sue of Daggett, Calif., Michael and Martha of Westbrook, and Steven of Bangor; one daughter, Annette Brewer of Patten; many grandchildren, Ruth Quirino of Bangor, Norman Quirino and family of Presque Isle, Laura Falanka and family of Patten, Joseph Lord of Houlton, Joshua McCaffrey and family of Wash., D.C., Cheryl Lynn McCaffrey of Ft. Worth, Texas, Shilo and family of Lewiston, and Kayla and Michael of Westbrook; six great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Ashley Falanka of Patten, Abbigayle and Annabelle Quirino of Presque Isle, Cheyanne McCaffrey of Lewiston and Jacob McCaffrey of Wash., D.C.; two sisters. Doris and Eva, both of Rhode Island; a close family friend, Maria and her husband, Terry Caldwell. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, at the Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Patten with Fr. Eddy Morin, celebrating. Interment will be in the Patten Cemetery. A time of fellowship will fellow the services at the families home on Shin Pond Road.
