MALCOLM E. ‘BUCKY’ LOGAN HOULTON – Malcolm “Bucky” Logan, 84, died May 31, 2008, at a local hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1923, in Houlton the son of Ellis and Ava (Williams) Logan. Buck served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1942 until 1946, and then was employed with Armour Co., retiring after 30 years. For years he was a member of Houlton Community Golf Course, which combined with hunting, were two sports he really enjoyed. He is survived by one son, Stephen M. Logan of Portland; two adopted daughters, Kathy and her husband, Chris Williams, of Old Orchard and Paula Marie of Portland; four granddaughters, Kelly Dowing, Heather Podolsky, Erica Nealy and Genel Mixer; two grandsons, Andrew Yankowsky and Jordon Voisine; six great-grandchildren; a niece, Dianne Cole; and nephew, Tom Shorey. He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Shorey. At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private service will be held at a later date.
