PENOBSCOT – Margaret Grace Wescott, 84, died Feb. 9, 2008, at a Penobscot health care center. She was born Jan. 10, 1924, in Milford, the daughter of Frederick and Millicent (Tozier) Morrison. Margaret was a graduate of Bucksport High School and was a longtime member of Milford Congregational Church. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Old Town. Surviving are four children, Janet Minnis of Charleston, Terry Wescott of Thorndike, Charles Wescott of Orland and Cheryl Simpson of Bangor; nine grandchildren, Anne Eug-ley of Old Town, Cathy Minnis of Bath, Becky Feero of Indiana, Lauren Powers of New Hampshire, Penny Buffington of New York, Misty Lea Wescott of New Mexico, Shawn Eric Wescott of Orland and Rosanne Simpson and Janna Simpson, both of Bangor; numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers and five sisters. Services will be private and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Penobscot Nursing Home, Resident Activity Fund, P.O. Box 5, Penobscot, ME 04476 or to a charity of choice.
