DOVER-FOXCROFT – Margaret H. Delue, 87, died Feb. 13, 2004, at a Bangor nursing home. She was born April 27, 1916, in Guilford, the daughter of Merle and Doris (Thombs) Harlow. She attended Dover-Foxcroft schools, graduating from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1933. She worked for the Telephone Company in Dover-Foxcroft for 38 years, with a short break of one and a half years while she served with the WAAC and WAC during World War II. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the Piscataquis County Extension, AARP, and the VFW. She is survived by a daughter, M. Ethelyn Littlefield of Orrington; three grandchildren, Ray Littlefield Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Lewiston, Lynne Forrest and her husband, Mike, of Bucksport, and Amanda Littlefield of Lowell, Mass.; a great grandson, Mason Forrest of Bucksport; a nephew, Carl Harlow and his wife, Kathy, of New York; she will also be greatly missed by her dog, Bitsy. She was predeceased by two brothers, Manson and his wife, Madeline, Warren and his wife, Ruth; and a son-in-law, Ray Littlefield. Graveside services at the family lot in Gray Cemetery will be conducted in the spring. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Bangor Humane Society, 693B Mount Hope Ave., Bangor 04401.
