PACE, Fla. – Margaret J. Bickmore, 83, went to be with her Lord June 20, 2006. She was a native of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, Canada and had resided in this area since 1989. She was a member of Pace Assembly of God Church and served on the pastor’s staff. She was active in women’s ministry, prayer ministry, usher’s and hostess ministry, In Touch Ministry, head of the bake sale and loved serving in the kitchen. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Doris Gee; and special daughter, Sue Dionne. She is survived by her husband, Fred W. Bickmore; son, Leslie and his wife, Diane Dionne, of Pace, Fla.; daughter, Carol and her husband, Dana Barnes, of Fort Fairfield; stepchildren, Ruth Craig of North Carolina, Marvin Bickmore of Alabama, Donald Bickmore of Maine, Susan Robinson of North Carolina; two sisters, Audrey DeMerchant of Canada and Judy Perie of Canada. Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at the prayer chapel of Pace Assembly of God Church with Pastor Glyn Lowery assisted by the Rev. Ron Carnley and the Rev. Grady Sowell officiating. Burial will be held at Memory Park Cemetery after the service. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 23, at the Pace Assembly of God, Prayer Chapel. Active pallbearers will be the ushers of Pace Assembly of God Church. Honorary pallbearers will be the women’s ministry, ushers and hostess of Pace Assembly of God. Jay Funeral Home, Jay, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
