BROOKS and BAILEYVILLE Margaret “Peggy” Gilmore, 57, died peacefully June 18, 2005, surrounded by her loved ones at a local hospital. She was born May 10, 1948, in Waltham, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Neil E. Stevens and Anne M. (O’Callahan) Stevens. Peggy was a vibrant, feisty, strong-willed woman who was loved by everyone and loved everyone in return. She is survived by her wonderful husband and soulmate, Norman W. Gilmore Jr., whom made her last years on this earth the happiest she had ever known; one brother, George Stevens and his wife, Kathleen, of Calais; a special aunt, Greta Stevens, of Calais; three daughters, AnneMarie Neeves and her fianc?, Darrin Thomas, of Calais, Janice Fuller and her husband, Cliff, of Belfast, Donna Loureiro and her husband, Chris, of Swanville; two sons, Norman W. Gilmore III of Morrill, Brian Gilmore and his wife, Billy Jo, of Riverton, Vt.; 13 grandchildren, John, Raymond, Norman, Tony, Mario, Richard, Christopher, Warren, Veronica, Brandon, Bethany, Brianna, and Mandy; a special cousin, Kim Ramsdell and her husband, Wally, of Eddington, who was also a dear friend. She is also survived by some very special friends, Monika Lee of Brooks, Melissa Hodgdon of Troy, and Paula Roberts and Doug Wescott of Brooks, She will be greatly and sadly missed by all that knew her. Graveside service will be announced at a later time.
