MILO – Margaret R Long, 87, died Sept. 17, 2004, at a Howland healthcare facility. She was born in Milo Sept 24, 1916, the daughter of Fred and Sybil (Emery) Rhoda. She was a member of the Three Rivers Senior Citizens, the Connecticut Employees Assoc., and the Lagrange Baptist Church, where she had served as deaconess and Sunday school superintendent. Margaret was predeceased by one sister, Frances; two brothers, Frederick and Earl; two stepbrothers, Albert and Richard. She is survived by her loving daughter, Amaryly Smith and husband, Norman, of LaGrange; two brothers, Henry and Ken Rhoda of Milo; one sister, Doris Eastman of Levant; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith and Doral Thomas; nine great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call 12:30 p.m. Monday, Sept 20, 2004, until time of services at 2 p.m. at the Lary Funeral Home in Milo, with the Rev. Ed Costain officiating.
