MORRILL – Margaret Rox-anna McKeen, 91, passed away Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at a local health care facility. She was born June 14, 1915, in Masardis, the daughter of Martin and Mabel (White) Wilcox. Margaret moved to Belfast at a young age with her family and lived in this area, except for 25 years when she worked with a missionary group in Citra, Fla. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Allen McKeen; a granddaughter, Diana McKeen; and three brothers, John, Leonard and Henry Wilcox. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Gale Hogan of Morrill; two sisters, Florence Wilcox Goodwin of Northport and Lois Wilcox Young of Swanville; seven grandchildren, Stephen Briggs, Thomas Briggs, Jeffery Briggs, Joseph Briggs, Patricia Hogan, Linda McKeen and Michael McKeen; and three great-granchildren, Ashley Briggs, Tate Hogan and Crystal Ellis. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial gathering 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Gale’s house, 256 South Main St., Morrill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
