ELLSWORTH and BLUE HILL Margaret S. Nevells, 91, formerly of Blue Hill, went home to be with her Lord, June 5, 2007, at an Ellsworth health care facility, after a long illness. She was born March 29, 1916, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Gordon R. and Francis P. (Rideout) Lamoreau. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took care of many people inside and outside her home and raised many state children. She enjoyed her vegetable garden, canning all her vegetables, and tending her beautiful flower gardens. Margaret touched many lives with her loving and caring spirit. The family thanks everyone at Courtland Rehab & Nursing Home for their wonderful care during her 12-year stay. She truly touched the lives of the residents and all who cared for her. She is survived by her children, Roger Nevells and wife, Pat, of Sidney, Elizabeth Nevells of Bucksport, Ruth W. Nevells and Delwyn of Blue Hill; sisters, Lois Tapley of Connecticut, Marion Nesland of Washington, and Betty Lamoreau of Richmond; brothers, Henry Lamoreau of Bowdoinham, and Mike Lamoreau of Herman; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Maxwell; brothers, Charlie, Robert, and Malcolm; and sisters, Lucy and Emma. Calling hours will be held 10-11 a.m. Friday, June 8, at North Blue Hill Pentecostal Assembly, where a celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Interment will be at Seaside Cemetery, Blue Hill.
