TRENTON – Mary Fox Kelley, 73, died June 4, 2007, at an Ellsworth hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 4, 1933, in Ellsworth Falls, the daughter of John H. and Geraldine (Salisbury) Fox. Mary worked at Watson’s Dry Cleaners for more than 30 years. She enjoyed dancing, camping, and her past winter in Florida. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 109. She will be missed by Maynard and Annebelle Chipman, and many other good friends. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Madore and husband, Mike, of Trenton; brothers, John Fox Jr. of Ellsworth and Arthur Fox of Trenton; sister, Sylvia Moon of Ellsworth; her very special grandchildren, Jennifer and friend, Rick Jordan, of Lamoine, Benjamin and friend, Jessie, of Florida, and Jeremy of Trenton; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Elmer Kelley; daughter, Cynthia L. DeMeyer Smith; brother, Dana; sister, Alice; and her dancing partner, Mac Butler. Calling hours will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 8.
