CORINTH – Marguerite E. Dempsey, 63, died April 5, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 12, 1940, in Corinth, the daughter of Lyndon and Eleanor (Wilson) Duran. She was a graduate of East Corinth Academy, Class of 1958, and was a member of the Corinth United Baptist Church. She had been a former volunteer at the Corinth Ambulance Service for several years. She is survived by a daughter, Dee Lorenzetti of Wilmington, N.C.; a son, Joseph Dempsey and his wife, Pamela, of Dorchester, Mass.; a brother, Steve Duran and his wife, Wanda, of Corinth; four grandchildren; two nieces and a great-nephew. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Corinthian Cemetery in Corinth later in the month. Those who wish may make donations in Marguerite’s memory to the Duran Fund at the Corinth United Baptist Church, P.O.
