BANGOR – Marguerite Maple, 81, of Bangor, died Sept. 21, 2004. Marge as she was known to everyone lived a full active life. She enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, bowling and Beano. Recently she had been the tour coordinator for the Bangor Seniors Club. Marge always helped out others in need, in return her friends were always there for her. In 1950 Marge helped start the cafeteria program for Prides Corner Elementary School in Portland. She worked there for 18 years. Marge is survived by Felix Blinn of Bangor; her brother, Walter Bennett of Bar Mills; a son, David Maple and his wife, Connie of Washington State; a daughter, Sandi Shubert of Portland; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at the United Methodist Church, 629 Stillwater Ave., Old Town.
