RAYMOND – Maria Scripture of Raymond Hill Road and formerly of Dedham, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at the home of her son. She was born in Vienna, Austria and came to the United States after her marriage to John Scripture. Maria was very proud of her United States citizenship, high school diploma and subsequent college education. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years and her beloved daughter, Diane. Surviving are her son, Jerry and his wife, Candi, of Raymond; three grandchildren, Amanda, Angela and John of Raymond; her sister, Marguerite Hintermayer of Vienna, Austria; her brother-in-law, Ray Scripture and his wife, Beverly, of Brewer; and several trusted and true friends. At her request, a private burial was held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hall Funeral Home, Casco.
