MEDDYBEMPS – Marie A. Roderick, 29 died Dec. 29, 2003 as the result of an automobile accident. She was born July 3, 1974, in Rockland, the daughter of Willis and Earlene (Grass) Boggs Jr. She was a graduate of Calais High School, Class of 1992. She was employed several years as a CNA and Medical Technician at Atlantic Rehab and Nursing Center in Calais. She had an Associate Degree in Arts and Social Services. At the time of her death she was employed by Sunrise Opportunities of Machias as a case manager. Surviving in addition to her parents of Talmadge are her husband, Lee Roderick; one son, Alex Roderick; and one daughter, Mallory Roderick, all of Meddybemps; two brothers, Eugene Boggs, Rocky Boggs and his wife, Sarah, all of Bangor; two sisters, Nichole and Sabrina Boggs, both of Talmadge; her maternal grandparents, Earl and Jessie Grass of Lambert; paternal grandmother, Jenny Creamer of Rockland; several nephews;, many aunts, uncles, and cousins; a special friend and cousin, Pauline Brown of Perry. Friends may call at the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, 26 Church St. Calais Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church of Calais with Pastor Nancy Hunt-ington officiating. Burial will follow in the Calais Cemetery.
