CARIBOU – Marie Theriault, 90, beloved wife of the late Albert Theriault, died March 27, 2008, in Caribou, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 19, 1918, in Connor, the daughter of O’Neil and Odelie (Cote) Dubay. She attended Cote School, Connor and graduated from Pierre’s Beauty School, Portland. She married Albert Theriault, Nov. 18, 1939. Marie was a loving and devoted wife and mother to all of her family. Marie and Albert loved to have large family gatherings at their home for the holidays, birthdays and many special occasions. Mrs. Theriault was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was a devoted member of Ladies of St. Anne for more than 60 years. She is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Marlene and Kermit Staples, Nancy and Richard Shaw, Noela Ouellette, and Karen and Anson Thibodeau, all of Caribou; five sons and daughters-in-law, Francis and Sharon Theriault of Port Charlotte, Fla., Gene and Edna Theriault of Caribou, Walter and Beverly Theriault of Great Falls, Mont., Norman and Linda Theriault, and Richard and Lynn Theriault, all of Caribou; four sisters, Rose Philippon of Gorham, N.H., Lena Richards of Newington, Conn., Sister Blanche Dubay of Ronkonkoma, N.Y., and Annette Bloom and her husband, Edward, of Newington, Conn.; two sisters-in-law, Rita Theriault of Caribou and Bertha Morin of Cromwell, Conn.; 39 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Theriault was predeceased by her husband of more than 60 years, Albert, Aug. 9, 2000; a daughter, Joyce, in 1942; a brother, Leo Dubay; and four sisters, Ida Beaulieu, Corinna Thibodeau, Gertrude Dubay and Ann Savage. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Farther Clement Thibodeau officiating. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
