WEST ENFIELD – Loretta Mae (Peluso) Miller, 68, peacefully went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 27, 2008. She was born May 1, 1939, in Caribou, the daughter of Alton and Marion (Sirois) Peluso. Loretta was involved in many local organizations including, Newport Chamber of Commerce, Red Hat Society, her local food cupboard and her church’s choir and Bible study group. She enjoyed many hobbies, including her flower garden, ceramics, painting, cooking and entertaining for others. She also loved her coastal camping trips to Camden and Prince Edward Island, and summer nights around the fire with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Jim Miller and his wife, Kim, of West Enfield; three sisters, Lorraine and her husband, Eddie Warrner, of Hermon, Beverly and her husband, Stephen Doody, of Levant and Gail and her husband, Zeke Wieder, of Presque Isle; two grandchildren, Trey Miller and his wife, Lisa, of West Enfield, who are expecting in May and Raeann Miller of West Enfield; special nephew, Ryan Doody and his wife, Michelle, and their children, Seth and Taylor, of Williamsburg, Va. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Edward Lee Miller. The family would like to send a special thanks to all those who prayed for Loretta, as well as the Intensive Care Unit and Dialysis staff in the Bangor and Lincoln areas. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit 1-2 p.m. Monday, March 31, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. with Pastor Maria Guereca, of Howland United Methodist Church, officiating.
