PRESQUE ISLE – Marie P. Lewin, 88, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Oct. 1, 2004, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1916, the daughter of John Thomas and Phoebe (Saucier) Mosher. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle. She graduated Presque Isle High School, Class of 1937. She is survived by two sons, Michael Lewin and his wife, Rita, of Mapleton, Clifton Lewin and his wife, Gwen, of Freedom; three daughters, Maire Parks and her husband, Steven, of Westfield, Linda Argraves of Manchester, N.H. and Marion Lewin of Taunton, Mass.; 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a brother, James Mosher of Presque Isle; a daughter-in-law, Loretta Lewin of Piedmont, S.D.; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Vella Greenlaw, Helen, Theresa, Pauline and Marion. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon John Lewin; a son, George Lewin; and a daughter, Roberta Long. Relatives and Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Johnson Cemetery in Presque Isle with the Rev. Alfred Irving officiating.
