BANGOR – Marilyn A. Johnson, 71, died Oct. 21, 2005, after a lengthy illness. She was born June 26, 1934, in Portland, daughter of Kenneth A. and Rose M. (Dupre) Johnson. Marilyn was a communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor, and was active as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the St. John’s Women’s Council. She retired from the Civil Service at the Maine Air National Guard with over 30 years of service. She is survived by two brothers, Kenneth M. Johnson of Bangor and John R. Johnson and his wife, Patricia, of Middleboro, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Susan M. Gaudet and husband, Donald, of Bangor; a nephew, John R. Johnson Jr. and his wife, Kelly, and their children, Tabitha Patricia Johnson and Emily Rose Johnson of Plymouth, Mass.; a niece, Michelle-Bass and husband, Brian, of Plymouth, Mass.; a nephew, Donald C. Gaudet and wife, Kristen, and their children, Caroline Rose Gaudet and Ava Elizabeth Gaudet of Portland. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Greenlawn Memorial Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bangor, with the Very Rev. Richard C. McLaughlin, pastor officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make donation to St. John’s Church, 207 York St., Bangor, ME 04401.
