PALM BAY, Fla., and FORT KENT – Marilyn “Bobbie” Mich-aud Caron, 76, peacefully pass-ed away Tues-day, Oct. 30, 2007, at William Childs Hospice Home, Palm Bay, Fla. She was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Rene and Emily (Charette) Michaud. She dedicated 20 years of service time to her country, retiring from the Air Force with the rank of staff sergeant. Her tour included the Korean War and Vietnam War, and England. After her military retirement, she was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier. She was a member of the Woman’s Air Force, WAF, and Melbourne VFW Post No. 4206. She was active with the Maine Connection and always looked forward to group outings. Ms. Michaud is survived by her sister, Kathy Belcher of Indialantic; and brother, James Caron of Tennessee. She was the cherished aunt of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a caring, loving lady who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial with full military honors 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. A committal service with full military honors will be held after at the parish cemetery. Those who wish may donate in her memory to William Childs Hospice Home, care of Health First Foundation, 3462 North Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne FL 32955.
