MILFORD and ORONO Marilyn D. Radice, 81, died May 25, 2008, at an Orono health care facility. She was born April 16, 1927, in East Orange, N.J., the daughter of Clifford and Loretta (Kubicki) Rose. Marilyn moved to Milford, in 1964 to raise her family. Throughout the years, she worked as a substitute teacher and enjoyed her time volunteering and tutoring children in the local schools. He was a past member of Milford Congregational Church and United Methodist Church, Orono, and more recently active at Church of Universal Fellowship, Orono. Marilyn was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Old Town. She is survived by a son, Jeffery Ruffino and wife, Bridget, and their children, Gabrielle and Nicco, all of Naples, Italy; a brother, Ron Rose and wife, Marjorie, of North Carolina; and her first husband, Mario “Murray” Ruffino of Hampton, Va. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Church of Universal Fellowship, 82 Main St., Orono, with the Rev. Lorna Stuart, celebrant. A reception will be after the service in the church parish hall. Gifts in her memory may be made to a charity of choice that can help children. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, Bangor.
