TRENTON – Marilyn E. (Davis) Goodrich, 60, died Jan. 21, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was the daughter of Alice Davis Shapazian and Walter Giles. Marilyn worked many years at the First National Store in Ellsworth until its closing, then started work at the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor from which she recently retired. She was a very out going person that will be sadly missed by everyone she touched. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronald Goodrich of Trenton; two daughters, Wendy Marquis and husband, Brian, of Ellsworth, Alica Goodrich and fianc?, Lealand Lawrence, of Windham; one son, Ronald G. Goodrich of Ellsworth; brother, Bruce Davis and wife, Koreen, of Ellsworth; several grandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren. Gifts in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the Jackson Lab Employee Relief Endowment, care of Lance McMasters, 600 Main St., Box 610, Bar Harbor, ME 04609. Upon request of the family there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care of Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
