ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. Marilyn G. (Connolly) Hobbs, 77, died peacefully Nov. 8, 2007, at her home with her family. Marilyn was born April 24, 1930, in Brewer. She attended Brewer sch-ools, graduating from Brewer High School in 1948. She will be remembered for her sparkling brown eyes and matching jovial spirit, her love of her family and her enthusiasm for professional football, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mervyn C. Hobbs, retired major U.S. Air Force; three children, Stephanie L. Snodgrass of Clearwater, Fla., Jeffrey S. Hobbs of Largo, Fla., and Dawn E. Curtis of Hampden; six grandchildren, Justin and Jarod of Clear-water, Fla., Hanna of Largo, Fla., Wendy, Danny and Tim-my, all of Maine; seven great-grandchildren; four close bro-thers, Clyde “Bud,” Jere “Zeke,” Alan and Mike, all of Maine; many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved parents, Maxine and Jeremiah Connolly. Private family services were held Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007.
