WHITEFIELD, N.H. – Marilyn J. Raymond, 71, passed away Aug. 18, 2006, at her home at 8 Myrtle Street. Marilyn was born April 16, 1935, in Guilford, a daughter to John Reginald and Ella Francis (Masterman) Ruland. Marilyn moved to Whitefield, N.H., from Maine in 1978, for the love of the mountains and to start Kozy Korner Ceramics. She was a 53-year member of the Susie Carr Chapter No. 181 of the Eastern Star, Sangerville. She enjoyed her family most of all, but shared with others her love for snowmobiling, camping, making ceramics, painting and leather crafting. Best of all her gifts, she shared her smile and sense of humor and will be sadly missed, especially by her special and intimate friends who were so much a part of her daily life. Marilyn is survived by her three children, Randy Scott Raymond and wife, Sharon, of Fairfield, Kristy Anne Palmer and husband, Bruce, of Manchester, N.H., and Lawrence “Larry” Raymond Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Troy; one brother, John Reginald Ruland Jr. of Indiana; seven grandchildren and two and three quarters great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the Pillsbury Funeral Home-Littleton Chapel, 101 Union St., Littleton, N.H. She will be laid to rest at the Lawn Cemetery, Guilford at a later date to be announced by the family. Arrangements and care have been entrusted to the Pillsbury Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Inc. To view an online memorial or to send a message of condolence, please visit www.pillsburyfh.com
