POLAND — Marilyn Jeannette Fish, 72, died quietly at home on April 24, 2004, after a long courageous battle with lymphoma. She was born on May 25, 1931, in Brookton, the daughter of John Curtis Lyon Sr. and Beatrice Vena Lilley Lyon. She moved from Brookton to the Lewiston area in 1962, and did a number of things there from waitressing to healthcare. Later she moved to St. Johnsbury, Vt., where she worked in healthcare as a home health associate until medical conditions forced her to retire. She moved back to Maine to be closer to her family. She spent the last two years living under the care of her daughter, Darla and son-in-law, William Elliott, of Poland. She is survived by her daughter, Darla Elliott and husband, William, of Poland; her sons, Scott Hall and wife, Joan, of Lewiston, Dale Fish and companion, Simone Chase, of Litchfield, Kevin Fish and wife, Stacia, of Monmouth; her sisters, Beverly Lugdon and husband, Owen, of Orono, Jacqueline Testori and husband, Scott, of Manchester, Conn.; brother, John Lyon Jr. and his wife, Sally, of Vernon, Conn.; a brother-in-law, James Jones of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by both parents; an infant sister, Mary Elaine Lyon of Brookton; a sister, Nadine Jones of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; and a nephew, Stanley Graham of Utah.
