PRESQUE ISLE – Marilyn M. Lavway, 41, died July 27, 2004, at her residence. She was born Sept. 21, 1962, in Caribou, the daughter of William and Esther (Osgood) Allen. Marilyn was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church in Presque Isle and was a past member of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship. In addition to her parents of Presque Isle, she is survived by her husband, Mark Lavway; two sons, James Lowe and Chad Lavway; a brother, Stephen Allen; mother-in-law, Maxine Drummond and her husband, Richard, all of Presque Isle; two brothers-in-law, Jeffery Lavway and his wife, Beth and Bruce Lavway and his wife, Lorna, all of Mapleton; also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Marilyn will also be dearly missed by her two canine companions, Oscar and Lady. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Blackstone officiating. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
