CORINTH – Marion Louise Commeau died early on the morning of Feb. 16, 2008, in her Corinth home, located along the Kenduskeag Stream. She was battling pancreatic cancer at the age of 84, when she succumbed. Marion attended school in Orrington, Brewer, Castine and Farmington. She married her late husband Wilfrid Commeau of Orono at the beginning of World War II. She was a robust woman, who enjoyed travel, history, reading and growing plants. Marion will be greatly missed by her family. Marion is survived by her four sons, Wilfrid Commeau of Texas, Thomas Commeau of North Carolina, Robert Commeau of Maine and Andrew Commeau of Kansas; her grandchildren, Terri, Glen, Brad, Chad, Benjamin, Patrick, Heather, Kacey, Shannon and Cindy; her great-grandchildren, Courtney, McKenzie, Kendell, Zachariah, Aimee, Joshua, Samantha, Bobby, James, Heather and Ann Marie. A graveside service will be held in the late spring or early summer of 2008 at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Togus. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
