CORINTH – Marion L. (McLean) Commeau, loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, died Feb. 16, 2008. She was born Aug. 31, 1924. Marion is survived by four sons, Wilfred Commeau Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, Thomas Commeau of Asheville, N.C., Robert Commeau of East Corinth and Andrew Commeau of Natoma, Kan.; two sisters, Dorothy Stewart of Orrington and Jean Harris of Merced, Calif.; one brother, Thomas McLean of Orrington; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Theresa McLean; and by her husband, Wilfred V. Commeau Sr. She will be greatly missed by all. Our most sincere thanks to all who perhaps sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent beautiful flowers, if so, we saw them there. Perhaps you sent or spoke kind words as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console the heart, we thank you so much, whatever the part. A graveside memorial will be held 1 p.m. Aug. 15, at the Togus Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
