ELLSWORTH – Marion M. Phillips, 56, died Nov. 12, 2003, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Feb. 28, 1947, in Ellsworth, a daughter of Leon A. and Eleanor A. (Young) Carter. Marion is survived by two sons, Robert Cunningham and his wife, Laura, of Orland and Randy Cunningham and his wife, Weita, of Kansas; one daughter, Bonnie Hardy of Crossville, Tenn.; three sisters, Beulah Sargent of Lamoine, Dorothy Whitmore of Hancock and Gladys Hill of Hancock; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Agnes Kemp; and an infant brother. There will be a private family gathering.
