HOULTON – Marion P. Moore, 90, passed away Nov. 22, 2005, at Madigan Estates in Houlton. She was born in Hodgdon, the daughter of the late John Hall Perrigo and Birdie (Saunders) Perrigo. Marion worked at her husband’s side on the family farm for many years and was a busy mother raising their nine children. She also worked for Baxter’s and Snowflake Canning Companies and as a substitute teacher for the primary grades. She will be best remembered for her love of truth, her faithful life and as a devoted wife and mother with unfailing love for all her family. She is survived by one son, Stanley M. Moore and wife, Sandra, of Presque Isle; seven daughters, Marilyn Michaud of Fort Fairfield, Barbara Jean Littehale and husband, Robert, of Warren, Carol Aliprandi and husband, George, of Middle-town, Conn., Ellen Larson of Folsom, Calif., Geraldine DiCentes and husband, Edward, of Sherman Mills, Phyllis Moore of Paradise, Calif. and Marguerite Lawler and husband, Joseph, of Smyrna; 28 much loved grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, (Mildred) Marguerite Simpson of Cary and (Lela) Geraldine Mallet of Houlton; special nieces, nephews and friends whom were all very dear to her heart. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Stanley; daughter, Lillian M. Elde Marriner; grandchild, Joseph Stanley Marriner; and great-grandchild, Jaime Lyn Littlehale; three special sons-in-law, Delcie Michaud, Charles Larson and Russell Elde; and also by her four brothers, Harrison, Kenneth, Earl and Leland Perrigo. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at Donald H. Shorey Funeral Chapel, 35 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield. Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at the funeral chapel and a committal service will follow at Village Cemetery in Palmyra.
