HOULTON – Marjorie E. Flewelling, 71, died Aug. 3, 2004, at a local healthcare facility. She was born Sept. 21, 1932, at Brooks, the daughter of Albert and Edith (Shields) McPherson. Marjorie was a lifelong resident of Houlton who was affectionately known as the “Sunshine Lady”. She is survived by two daughters, Laura Ann Flewelling of Houlton, Ellen Hoyt and her husband, Charles, of Brunswick; a special friend, Ralph Boynton of Houlton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen E. Flewelling. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Dunn Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Tuttle officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
