ELLSWORTH – Marjorie Frances Morrison Soper, 81, died Aug. 3, 2004, at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. She was born April 20, 1923, in Ellsworth Falls, the daughter of Charles G. and Laura F. (Colson) Young. Marjorie worked at the Woolen Mill in Ellsworth for 18 years. She also worked as a caregiver to people in their homes. Marjorie is survived by a son, Charles G. Morrison and wife, Patricia, of Surry; a sister, Eleanor Theobald and friend, Bill Griffin, of Ellsworth; two granddaughters, Pamala Morrison-Colby and husband, Royal, of Trenton and Lori Leisten of Idaho; three great-grandchildren, Charles Colby, Layne and Drew Leisten; a niece, Sharon Morton and husband, Ron. She will also be remembered by two very special people, Lori Gehrs and Melinda Robbins. She was predeceased by a son, Clyde “Sonny” Morrison, Jr. in 2003 and a brother, Charles G. Young, Jr. At Marjorie’s request there will be no services and burial will be private at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
