BANGOR – A funeral service for Marjorie (Merrill) Melvin will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at the Hammond Street Congregational Church, 28 High St., Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Mark Allen Doty, pastor, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments after the services at the Hammond Street Congregational Church Reception Hall. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Winterport. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
