DEXTER – Marjorie (Richards) Jones, 88, died June 16, 2004, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1915, at Wilton, a daughter of Earl and Edith (Quimby) Richards. She graduated from Wilton Academy and will be remembered for her many years working at Plummer Memorial Hospital as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Dexter Sunshine Club and was an avid Bridge player. Marjorie loved her many visits to the Maine coast. She was predeceased by her husband Linwood; her daughter, Gae-Lou Boyd; and brother, Wendall Richards. She is survived by two grandchildren, Christopher and wife, Kathleen Boyd, of Southwick, Mass., Cathy and husband, Scott Gallant, of Gray; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Austin Gallant, Tyler and Kyle Boyd. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter, with the Rev. Sharon Lovejoy officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Memorial donations may be made to the Dexter Sunshine Club, in care of Mrs. Nancy Baldwin, 59 Acadia St., Dexter, ME 04930.
