BREWER – Martin “Papa” J. McKunes Jr., 52, died May 17, 2006, at his residence. He was born June 21, 1953, in Boston, Mass., the son of Martin and Helen (Wishnieski) McKunes Sr. Marty was a proud Irishman from “Southie.” He will be always remembered as the life of the party…”Part-ay with Mart-ay!” He will be missed, with a smile, and was loved by many. He is survived by his wife, Lynn (Reynolds) McKunes of Brewer; three daughters, Tammy “Tam Tam” Moran and her husband, Isaac, of Brewer, Lori-Anne Rahn and her husband, Rich, of Winterport, Melanie Pullar and her husband, Tim, of Bellingham, Wash.; one stepson, James Young and family of Boston, Mass.; four grandchildren, Ariyana and brother Ethan, Bailey, and Carys; four brothers, twin brother, Stephen, Alphonse, Donald, Micky; four sisters, Cathy, Eva, Theresa and Ann Marie; countless nieces, nephews and cousins, all of Massachusetts. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Martin Young; two brothers, Richard and Robert Roderick. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 So. Main St., Brewer.
