LAS VEGAS and BANGOR Marvel Bernice (Washburn) Shannon, 88, died April 13, 2008, at a Las Vegas health care facility. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Thomas Lequin, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiating. Marvel’s family thanks all those who made gifts in her memory.
