BANGOR – Marvin Curtis McKee died unexpectedly May 3, 2006 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Havensville, Kan., the son of Alvin Curtis McKee and Camille Davis McKee. Marv graduated from Kansas University with his major being in Archeology. His early career was as a manager in computer programming and later he moved into antiques with a specialty in American art pottery. He was very active in many bowling leagues at Family Fun Bowling. He also was an avid Red Sox fan and loved going to antique auctions. He was a very caring son, friend and companion. He was predeceased by his father and brother, Ken McKee. Marv is survived by his best friend, companion and love of his life, Jan Duffy; mother, Camille McKee; sister-in-law, Marian McKee; along with three nieces and their children. At the request of Mr. McKee, there will be no service. There will be a family gathering in Havensville, Kan, where his ashes will be placed in the family cemetery.
