DOVER-FOXCROFT – Mary A. Edgerly Horne, 87, wife of the late Peter Horne, died July 22, 2006, at a Greenville nursing home. She was born Oct. 12, 1918, in Atkinson, the daughter of William and Edna (Bradford) Noyes. A graduate of Foxcroft Academy, Mrs. Horne was a former cook at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was a member of the Wenonah Rebekah Lodge No. 11 and the East Dover Grange. She is survived by a daughter, Judy M. Edgerly of Hampden; three stepdaughters, Marilyn Bailey of Milo, Carolyn DeMartin of Connecticut and Helen Valente of Cumberland; a sister, Marion Edgerly of Dover-Foxcroft; several nieces, nephews, cousins, step-grand-children and great-stepgrand-children. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Edgerly; her twin sister, Harrie Noyes; a sister, Elizabeth Pratt; and three brothers, Raymond, Clayton and William Noyes. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 24, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, with Pastor David Mumford officiating. Burial will be at the Horne family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
