CARIBOU – Mary Ann Milton, 73, died April 16, 2004, at her Caribou residence. She was born Sept. 28, 1930, in Caribou, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Bouchard) Nadeau. Mrs. Milton attended the Caribou schools and on Oct. 31, 1948, she married Chester Milton. She was a lifetime member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was employed by the Caribou School Dept. with the school lunch program for many years. Mary was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She loved her flowers, candles, and was an avid sports fan. Surviving in addition to her husband of more than 55 years, Chester of Caribou are one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Lou Ann Milton of Raymond; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda Coleman of Rockwell, N.C., and Sharon and David DeMerchant of Presque Isle; one sister, Marlene Morin of Groveton, Ga.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mary will be missed by her special friend, her cat Charles. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2004, from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
