JOLIET, ILL. – Mary Anne Anderson, 72, passed away May 7, 2005, in Joliet, Ill. She taught at Penobscot Christian School in Bangor, for many years before retiring in 2003. Through Mary Anne, God showed his graces to all of us. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Karl Jr.; her loving children, Sally (David) Teague, Karl III (Sandra) Anderson and Mark (Libertad) Anderson; 10 grandchildren, three sisters, Patricia (John) Broderick, Dorothy (Peter) Sheehan and Sally (Rich) Moore; an aunt; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Westwood Memorial Chapel, 3201 West Jefferson St. Interment will take place privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Compassion.
